Categories
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be awarded in each category. There will also be the following overall grand prizes:
- Best of Show [professional bracket]
- Best of Show [college bracket]
- Best of Show [high school bracket]
- Most Innovative
The monetary award for each grand prices is $500.

The following descriptions are intended to help clarify which category a piece should be submitted under and should not be considered all-inclusive. If you are not sure which category to submit under, please contact info@rochesterartech.com.
- graphic design
- pieces that pull together graphic elements, including typography, graphics, images, etc.
- intended to deliver a message to an audience
- for example, may be created with InDesign, Illustrator, etc
- photography
- any pieces captures with a digital camera
- photos of any origin that have some aspect of digital manipulation
- digital illustration
- pieces created using digital techniques that might replace traditional media and methods
- for example, may be created with programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter, Maya, etc
- collages/montages
- pieces that are compilations of digital illustrations or photographs
- printmaking
- pieces resulting from a digital printmaking process

- animation
- digital video
