Come and learn the basics of branding and logo design. Design your own personal logo for yourself using Adobe Illustrator. After all, a logo is where a brand starts.

Instructor: Carol Fillip & Lorrie Frear
Workshop Difficulty:  Beginner, Adobe Illustrator experience is helpful, however not mandatory.

Materials:  Thin black sharpie marker, tracing paper, portable drive to save your files

Professor Carol Fillip's scholarship, research and creativity interests involve letters (in all forms), literacy, socially responsible design, branding, brainstorming processes/techniques, experiential education, and color theory/practice. Carol’s areas of focus are with the basics of design as well as symbol and icon design.

In all of her courses, Professor Lorrie Frear places emphasis on creativity, curiosity, conceptual and critical thinking skills, individual challenge and growth and professionalism. Her interests in design and the visual arts are diverse and eclectic and include calligraphy, community involvement, contemporary issues in design, contemporary lettering, packaging design and typography.
